Member Development
Member Development Project Team
The Member Development team promotes the professional development and academic success of all PHA members. Potential projects for this year include outreach to healthcare professionals and guest speakers from a variety of areas in public health for informational panels and general meetings. Additional projects include the maintenance of regular opportunity updates on Slack, developing a stronger member media presence, the facilitation of the PHA mentorship program, the development of a resume/application feedback forum, and/or the running of professional networking events. Members are also welcome to bring their own unique perspectives to the table and present their own ideas for new projects or modifications to existing ones. The Member Development Team ensures that members of PHAs are not only skilled and supportive Patient Advovates, but also high achievers in their professional and academic careers.

Personalized Skill-Development Workshops
Recognizing the diverse skill sets and growth trajectories of our members, these workshops are tailored to individual needs and goals. By customizing each session to address specific skills and interests, we aim to support the unique development of every team member and enhance their professional and personal interactions. We plan to create smaller, personalized skill groups each quarter to help members achieve their personal goals.
