The main goal of the Outreach Team is to create media to advocate for topics in public health and SCOPE PHA’s mission. As an Outreach Team member, you’ll take trips off campus to learn more about community needs and create media projects to advocate an issue you’re passionate about. Side projects may include making videos documenting PHA events and initiating collaborations with different organizations on campus. If you’re passionate about media, community service, and collaborations with organizations on- and off-campus, this team is the good fit for you! The Outreach Team will highlight various community health leaders, public health scholars, and anyone with something meaningful to say about public health from UCLA and beyond through podcasts, policy briefs, infographics, and more. The Outreach Team will also highlight the work done by other PHA committees.
