The Resource Team is responsible for developing and maintaining a database of community-based resources that will be utilized by physicians, medical students and PHA caseworkers to connect patients to primarily free and low-cost social services. Members will have the opportunity to participate in various sub-projects within the team, including community-based clinics for the unhoused and resource topic presentations. The team also aims to update resources on the PHA MyMaps platform to streamline the process of providing personalized resources for patients. Additionally, members are encouraged to spearhead their own projects to increase distribution of resources, including collaborations with other clubs, off-campus organizations, and clinics. Next year, the Resource Team will work on increasing the assembly and dropoff of personal care kits to nonprofit organizations. We will also make efforts to expand our caseworking and volunteering services at more locations across the Southern California area.
